It's necessary

I used to wear these for fun, mainly because they are Nic's and well we like to 'borrow' what the other has. Now I am finding that they are necessary more and more each day. Winter has arrived there is no doubt. I would not be seen out and about with these at home, but I am ok with it here, to some degree anyway. They are passable to walk around our street in but I won't be heading to the shops in them anytime soon, its just wrong, I feel like I would be doing the UGG label a bad service.

I have put my order in for Christmas, so let's see if Santa is listening, or has cold feet.

Choc Chip Bagels

Mini ones.... they are small, aromatic, delicious when toasted, melt in the mouth, filling, yet that doesn't seem to matter, it's heart over head .....they are quite possibly evil.

Autumn

I get the feeling that Autumn will come to an
abrupt end. This could merely be the sighs of the
husbandat my 'forgetfulness' of taking the camera out to get beautiful foliage snaps, or it could be the rather refreshing and seemingly sudden snap of coolness in the air. I am not complaining, it really is nice, and its only in the mornings and evenings. Well it could be later, I don't feel as cold as Nic at the moment, all the pregnancy fat. Plus he turns the heater on at any slight coolness. I have noticed he only turns the gas one on, not the fireplace in the kids lounge, which is wood.

Ahhh but that's enough of picking on Nic. I was about to say he is not here to defend himself, and then I had an evil thought....when should I tell him about this blog. Along with everyone else he knows I have good intentions of starting a blog to keep a track of our times here, and I did use blog reasons in order to get the camera I wanted - but I don' t think he nor anyway else really expects it.

I am no great writer, in all honesty I think I nearly failed English at school, but I seemed to get through University without any problems, so I haven't let school English scar me. I am funny, but whether you get my humour will be my downfall. So just enjoy the photos and the often different if not quirky perspective I can have on all 'things' life.

The pic here is of a local street in Palo Alto of some beautiful Autumn trees, near the Children's library. Speaking of which I've never seen a library just for Children before - not a bad idea at all.
